Jerry Sykora
President

Mr. Sykora is a professional geologist and an oil and gas entrepreneur with 35 years of experience in onshore and offshore petroleum exploration and business development in North and South America, Russia, Australia, Africa, Arabia and South East Asia. He has previously held exploration, business development, senior country and regional management positions with Gulf Canada, Nexen and Talisman and has been an integral part of oil and gas discoveries and developments in Northern and Western Canada, Yemen, Nigeria, Vietnam, PNG, and Indonesia. As founder and CEO of Bukit Energy Inc. he raised USD 45 MM equity and organically grew Bukit Energy into the third largest land holder in Sumatra within three years of inception. Mr. Sykora holds a MSc in Geology from Carleton University and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Bukit Energy Asia Pte. based out of Singapore. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and the South East Asian Petroleum Exploration Society (Singapore).

Dr. Ian Moffat
COO

Dr. Moffat is a professional geologist with over 35 years of exploration, exploitation and development experience gained in North and Latin America, Africa, South East Asia, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. Most recently, Dr. Moffat was VP Exploration with publicly traded Exploration and Production company ArPetrol Ltd. in Argentina. Prior to ArPetrol, he spent 17 years at Talisman Energy Inc. where he held a variety of senior technical and management roles culminating in VP Exploration New Ventures. Dr. Moffat previously served on the Board of Directors of Pathfinder Oil & Gas and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fortitude Gulf Resources, a private company startup that is seeking exploration and production opportunities in the United States Gulf Coast, and the not for profit Canadian Global Exploration Forum. He is a long time member of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and has published extensively on topics related to various areas in the geosciences and oil and gas exploration and development.

Dave Holtby
VP, Commercial

Mr. Holtby is a professional engineer and a Chartered Financial Analyst with over 25 years of oil and gas experience in investment analysis and business development. He previously held a variety of analysis and business development positions with Nexen, including General Manager, International Economics.

Rory Clancy
VP, Subsurface Engineering

Mr. Clancy is an international Oil and Gas engineer with 38 years experience which include in-country postings in Indonesia, Yemen, Egypt, and UK North Sea in addition to experience in North America. He has held various leadership roles and was recently VP Engineering and Operations for a private Canadian Oil and Gas company with operations in Egypt. He has negotiated various international contracts and agreements relating to PSC’s and has consulted to both International Oil and Gas companies and governments on both technical and contract related issues. Rory has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Dean Callaway
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Callaway has 25 years experience in the energy sector. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an MBA from Nijenrode University in the Netherlands and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Canada. Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Gallic Energy Ltd., a TSXV company with international oil and gas operations in France and Australia. Gallic was acquired by Petromanas Energy in 2013. Prior to Gallic Energy, Mr. Callaway was the CFO of TG World Energy Corp, a TSXV company with international oil and gas operations in Alaska, the Philippines and Niger, Africa. TG World Energy was acquired by TVI Pacific in 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Callaway was the CFO of Thailand Resource & Exploration International a private international oil and gas company. Mr. Callaway also worked with Enbridge Inc. and TransAlta Corp. in the international corporate finance groups and with Merrill Lynch in investment banking.

Gary W. Paukert
VP, Geoscience

Mr. Paukert is a professional geophysicist with over 34 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and development via seismic acquisition, processing, interpretation and prospect generation. He has contributed to successful efforts in more than a dozen countries in the Americas and Europe, most notably throughout South America and the North Sea. Most recently he directed the geophysical aspects of Bankers Petroleum’s expansion into the Pannonian Basin in Eastern Europe. Prior to that he served as Exploration Manager and Manager of New Ventures Geology and Geophysics for a number of internationally-focused junior Canadian explorers, including C&C Energia, Petrominerales and Petroamerica. Mr. Paukert began his career with almost ten years at Exxon Co., USA after which he directed geophysical exploration efforts at Canadian mid-sized explorers including Norcen, Crestar and Talisman Energy for over eighteen years. Gary obtained an MSc in Geophysics from the University of Calgary. He is a long time member of the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (USA) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Scott North
VP, Production

Mr. North is an oil and gas professional with over 35 years Canadian and International experience. He began his career with Gulf Canada, working as a production engineer and project engineer throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. His international experience focussed in Indonesia, where he was involved in production operations, asset management and development of several large gas fields with Asamera and Conoco Phillips, and later in the Middle East and Africa, where he was country manager of brownfield operations and exploration assets with DNO. Scott holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Alberta.

Steve Hall
VP Drilling

Mr. Hall has 40 years’ experience as a Drilling Manager, Superintendent and Senior Drilling Engineer. He has drilled more than 40 wells onshore/offshore Indonesia and several hundred wells in Canada, US, Oman, UAE and New Zealand. He has managed the drilling of several large projects from the exploration phase through to field development and production. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada. Steve resides in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Ian Habke
Advisor

Mr. Habke is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry having worked in a number of roles in Canada, the Middle East, the UK and Latin America with significant knowledge in the areas of oil and gas operations, strategic planning and budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, M&A activities, tax planning, investors relations and supply management.

Terry Buchy
Snr. Engineering Advisor

Mr. Buchy is a professional engineer with 37 years of oil and gas experience, including 12 years in South East Asia primarily in Indonesia and Malaysia. He has held leadership roles in drilling, operations, asset management and business development positions in Canada, Indonesia, United Kingdom and Malaysia primarily with Talisman Energy. Since retiring from Talisman Terry has consulted as a project assurance advisor and asset evaluations coordinator for projects throughout the world. Terry holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC.

Mark Wheeler
Advisor

Mr. Wheeler is an international oil and gas geologist, with over 40 years industry experience. He has held numerous senior management positions with ConocoPhillips (COP). Most recently, he served as President and CEO of COP China and prior to that was President and CEO of COP Malaysia. He was also Conoco's VP Exploration and Development in both Indonesia and Norway, and earlier in his career was Exploration Manager for both US Offshore and Onshore assets based in Texas USA. He has recently consulted for several international and domestic oil and gas companies. Mr. Wheeler holds BS and MS degrees in geology from St. Lawrence University, University of California Berkeley, and Washington State University. He earned an executive MBA from University of Pittsburg's Katz School of Business.
